After this morning’s wholesale trade report from the U.S. Census Bureau, the nowcast of the contribution of inventory investment to annualized second-quarter real GDP growth increased from -0.46% to -0.43%. The next GDPNow update is Thursday, May 15.

After this morning’s housing starts report from the U.S. Census Bureau and the release of import and export price indexes from BLS-Labor Statistics, the nowcast of second-quarter real residential fixed investment growth decreased from 0.4% to -3.0%. The next GDPNow update is Tuesday, May 27.
