After a 2-year delay, the first days of #TORUS22 are finally underway! We have been spending some time traversing the great state of #Kansas, targeting convection and shaking off the rust so that our entire team can work flawlessly for the next month. See you out there! #TORUS22

On 5/19/24, the Texas Tech Atmo. Sci & NWI Ka radars captured their best tornado dataset yet outside of Custer City, OK. The radars were able to continuously capture 6 minutes of evolution near it's peak intensity, including multiple vortices, all in the lowest 50 m AGL.
