On June 14, we remember the victims of the Soviet mass deportations of June 1941. Around 18,000 Lithuanians were forcibly transferred to Siberia over the course of several days. We gathered Victims of Communism to read their names. Soviet crimes and the victims will never be forgotten.

🇱🇹 Lithuania has officially notified the United Nations of its withdrawal from the Ottawa Convention, effective in 6 months. This move aligns with 🇵🇱🇱🇻🇪🇪 & 🇫🇮, who have also decided to withdraw due to heightened security concerns. Joining our strategic ally the US, also outside this treaty.
