Course Chaplain Bob Prior led an intimate ceremony to commemorate the life of fallen jockey Stefano Cherchi who passed away a year ago tomorrow. Fellow riders have laid flowers at Stefano's memorial plaque in the Mounting Yard. Today we remember and honour Stefano.

12 months ago today Stefano Cherchi passed away in Canberra following a racing accident. An intimate gathering was held yesterday @thoroughbredpark races where a plaque was unveiled and roses laid in Stefano’s memory. Love to all his family & many friends across the world
