When Dina started covering Microsoft in 1999, her first interview was with Satya Nadella. Fittingly, 26 years later, her last interview on the $MSFT beat is with Satya, too. Congrats on an epic run of coverage, Dina Bass

So why is Microsoft back to pouring resources into training its own large language models? When will it use them as versus OpenAI's? Austin Carr and I spoke with Satya Nadella and Mustafa Suleyman on the philosophy behind MAI for Businessweek

If you only want to read one article about DeepSeek, read our cover story for the June issue of Businessweek: I traveled to Hangzhou -- home to the Little Dragons -- for on-the-ground reporting. For the first time in five years, China’s tech space is buzzing。 shorturl.at/6w3Ak

Relevant primer before Satya Nadella's Microsoft Build keynote today. Very curious to see if Microsoft shows off any third-party (and non-OpenAI) model integrations or more in-house efforts on the "Pareto frontier" from Mustafa Suleyman

Our !Camera launch poster is of course an homage to the famous 1999 iMac "Yum" poster. At a time when everyone else was obsessed with power & efficiency, they made something more fulfilling.

Lovely to see how deep Apple is taking spatial UI with its new "liquid glass" redesign. Feels like the next generation of the translucency + parallax effects introduced with iOS 7. The depth seems much more immersive now yet it's still a very measured move beyond the flat era.
