A Partnership Forged in Fire & Flood 🇦🇺 🇻🇳 #AusNavy hosted 17 Vietnamese People's Army personnel at #HMASCerberus to hone their ability to fight at sea through combat survivability training.

Today marks the 20th anniversary of the crash of #AusNavy Sea King helicopter ‘Shark 02’ during a humanitarian mission on the Indonesian island, Nias. 9 ADF members were killed: 6 from Navy & 3 from Air Force. 2 ADF members survived. We will never forget this tragedy. 🕊

Today ceremonies in Canberra and at #HMASAlbatross paid tribute to the 9 ADF personnel and 2 survivors of the Sea King helicopter, ‘Shark 02’ tragedy. Lest we forget. ⚓ 🕊️
