My Office for the Day: BLS 91-51. Merry Christmas to all - especially those who are standing a post or taking a duty shift protecting others. Most are away from home on a day meant for family. I’m lucky enough to be able to bring the rig to the farm for the shift. Peace.

Our annual air drill is one of my favorite events at Station 91. This year we played dodgeball while on air in full gear. It’s nice that I’m not much worse than I was when we played this in fourth grade - but bending over to pick up the balls is harder.

Our herd practices social distancing. Are you washing your hooves several times a day? Do you cover your mouth when you Bleat unexpectedly? Sharing the same stall is a no-no. Don’t be a scapegoat, be a good herd animal and follow the COVID-19 guidance.

I don’t know what 7:00 PM brings to where you live, but for those of us who are in NYC, staying in a hotel so we can walk to our job in healthcare, it brings great joy to hear the streets erupt in recognition. Thank you.
