「人道と開発と平和の連携」🤝 日本の強みでもあるこのアプローチは、誰一人取り残さない社会の実現に必要不可欠です。 クレメンツ国連難民副高等弁務官は、このHDPネクサスを通じた連携について、長年のパートナーであるJICAと面談。 現場での連携強化に向けて、有意義な意見交換を行いました。

松江観光協会のイベントで世界の難民について話す機会をいただきました。 数多くの重要な質問を投げかけてくださり、有意義な対話の時間となりました。 古くから茶のみ文化を通じ、人が集い、問題解決を図ってきたという松江。”社会全体で取り組む難民支援”の推進にはこのような地域力が不可欠です。

神奈川県が #難民を支える自治体ネットワーク に加わりました。 170以上の国と地域の方々が住む国際性豊かな神奈川県。難民問題への理解醸成に向けたさらなる一歩となることを期待します。 黒岩知事からご説明いただいた「ともに生きるかながわ憲章」の理念を体現するような連携を目指していきます。

6月20日の #世界難民の日 は、故郷から避難を余儀なくされながらも、強く前を向いて生き抜く人たちに想いを寄せる日。 今年も日本でさまざまなイベントが催されました。 でも私たちにとっては毎日が「世界難民の日」です。 ここからさらに、社会全体での取り組みが広がっていくことを願っています。

ユニクロとマグナム・フォトがコラボした「PEACE FOR ALL」のメディア発表会に登壇しました。チャリティTシャツの売上の一部はUNHCRの難民支援に役立てられています。 「Tシャツを買って、着る」という一見小さなアクションが、世界の支援現場を支えています。みなさんのサポートに深く感謝します。

レバノンはシリア紛争から逃れてきた難民を150万人受け入れて来ました。昨日の朝から、イスラエルの空爆を逃れるために数千のレバノン人、そしてシリア難民が逆にレバノンからシリアに逃れています。UNHCRはパートナー団体とともにシリア側の国境でも緊急支援を行なっています。

明治学院大学平和研究所の広島・長崎講座で「なぜ難民が生まれるかー難民の視点からみた平和」についてお話しする機会を得ました。 難民問題の解決は、国際社会による平和構築の取り組みと切り離せません。 来年は終戦80周年を迎えます。ぜひ難民という切り口で、平和について考えてみてください。
