Great poster presentations from Researching Inequalities theme at Health Services Research UK conference, including Azar Alexander-sefre: Tackling health inequalities: what is the role of intersectionality in health research? Pre-recorded: youtu.be/Gms_Fan1DHA #HSRUK23 @hsru_aberdeen #InclusiveResearch

Intersectionality is a “buzz” word I’ve heard mentioned by many at Health Services Research UK, however it still feels like there is a long way to go to truly understand it’s impact in health services and research. My PhD work will hopefully be one small step in the right direction! #HSRUK2023

Well done to HSRU PhD students Azar Alexander-sefre Sophie Greenwood who have been presenting their PhD work in 3-minutes at University of Aberdeen PGR conference this week, not an easy task!👏

It was great to give a short overview of my project at the MRC TMRP DTP Associate Partner Symposium event today #inclusivetrials

Some of my lovely MRC TMRP DTP PhD cohort #trialsmethodology #PhD

📢One of our DTP students Azar Alexander-sefre is looking for researchers to interview as part of her PhD study. Do circulate widely and get in touch if you want to be involved.

First in our nod to Trailblazers for Be Part of Research Week is Azar Alexander-Sefre, a second-year PhD student with us MRC TMRP DTP Azar's research focuses on making trials more inclusive:

What a fabulous two days at our MRC-NIHR Trials Methodology Research Partnership training workshop this week. Engaging speakers and great discsussions with our DTP students, our wider student network and supervisors! Thanks to all 😀

Such an informative keynote session from Prof Prof Kamlesh Khunti - health disparities are apparent across so many disease sites, but it’s encouraging that researchers are now making the effort to minimise them! #ictmc2024

A fantastic few days in Cambridge at the MRC TMRP DTP event! I had the chance to present an overview of my PhD and connect with my brilliant fellow students. Always great to share ideas and see what everyone is working on!
