#OTD 1944 D-Day, the Allied invasion of Normandy, was launched. This map room at Southwick House, Portsmouth, was at the heart of preparations for #DDay & became the HQ for the main Allied Commanders, led by General Eisenhower. We remember the bravery of all those involved.
