Honoured to announce our Team of the Decade for 1948-1959 including our Player of the Decade Shirley Topley. Shirley was a dominant player for King Edward, helping win the championship in 1949, 1950 and 1951. Congratulations to Shirley and the rest of the Team of the Decade!

After leading her Salmon Arm team to four straight championship game appearances -- including three titles -- Joanne Sargent was selected the Player of the Decade for the 1960s. Congratulations to Joanne and all the outstanding players chosen for the Team of the Decade!

Another decade, another dominant player from the Salmon Arm program as Bev Smith is the Player of the Decade for 1970s. With Smith on the court, the Jewels went on an amazing 89-game winning streak. Congratulations to Bev and all the Team of the Decade players for 1970-1979!

What a resume for our 1980s Player of the Decade Cheryl Kelsey: 2-time All-Star, 5-game record holder for points in a tournament (171) and second all-time points in a career at provincials with 392. Congrats to Cheryl and the players on the Team of the Decade for the 1980s!

The 1994 Most Valuable Player, the 1995 Most Outstanding Defensive Player as well as a 1993 First Team All-Star, Amber Hall was a force to be reckoned with on the court for the Britannia Bruins, and is the Player of the Decade for the 1990s.
