We recently raised awareness of a great charity Petrus Community. We joined in with Petrus Wellbeing Week and took part in a week full of mindfulness activities including Mindfulness Monday, Treat-filled Tuesday, Green Wednesday, Thank you Thursday and Feel Good Friday.

For the first time ever, three of our students achieved a Royal Society of Chemistry Olympiad Gold Award. Congratulations to Ben, Kieran and Mahim!! Furthermore, Ben was one of the top 650 students in the entire country!! Everybody who took part should be very proud of themselves 😊

Today we had the honour of hosting newly elected Mayor of Oldham and Blue Coat Chair of Governors, Eddie Moores, here at Blue Coat in his inaugural event at our Business Breakfast alongside businesses from around Oldham. Thank you all for joining us today!

Our Law and Criminology Extended Certificate recipients 2025! 🥳 Over the course of this academic year this short course programme gave students an insight into the law through a variety of lectures and seminars and the chance to talk to professional practitioners.

Last week our Law Pathway students were privileged to be invited to a day at Browne Jacobson. The visit allowed our students to gain first-hand insight into the legal profession. It was a fantastic day and so insightful for students with an interest in law.

Students attended workshops at the PwC UK offices last week, focused on skills development, and exploring a range of career paths. The event was led by the AI and Modelling team, with a focus on the actuarial profession. #WeAreBlue #CouldYouBeBlueToo

Students recently attended the Cyber First MEGA Hub event. Fifty MEGA Scholarships were due be awarded and we are pleased to announce that eight Blue Coat students have been successful in the selection process and have been awarded a place on the Oldham MEGA Scholarship Programme
