BCT has developed a 10-Point Plan as a strategic framework to tackle gambling-related harm through a place-based, public health approach. This plan is designed to guide stakeholders in creating awareness, promoting early intervention, and supporting recovery across communities.

Our treatment support is FREE and we have NO WAITING LISTS. Gambling harms affect the whole family. We’re working with our wider partners of the NGSN and the NHS to promote local organisations offering tailored treatment and support not just for individuals, but for families too.

On Monday this week our Education Team delivered our Bet You Can Help Level 2 inside HMP Altcourse. The full day was well engaged with the group wanting to use the RSPH accredited certificate in tackling gambling related harms to help with employment and supporting others.

Gambling harms don’t always look the same and neither should our response. We’re working with local leaders and public health teams to raise awareness through the ‘Bet You Can Help’ training programme. Awareness → Screening → Assessment → Signposting → Support

Paul’s Place Wirral Coastal Walk 2025 update - We are delighted to update that we have now passed the £2,500 fundraising mark! Massive thanks to all who took part and to all who contributed! All funds raised go directly towards providing suicide bereavement support in Merseyside.

This week our Education delivered our Bet You Can Help Now programme to the wonderful staff at Citizens Advice Tameside. The session went great and we are now looking at ways we can get a referral pathway in place. This is part of the ongoing work and partnership we have in Tameside. #BYCH
