Finished up Day 2 of our Central Lee Youth Basketball Camp. Thanks to Justin Bottorff for coming in to emphasize the importance of footwork, changing speeds, and handling the ball!

We will be offering Plyometrics training for all BC HS Athletes beginning Monday at 5:30 at HS, lead by Coach Drake. Purpose is to help our athletes with core strength, explosion, and leaping. Let’s get better together!

Brown County 6’4” Guard Bradley Markert is having a huge summer after big freshman year. Takes toughest defensive assignments, unselfish, high IQ player. Playing up 16U with Midwest Prospect Academy Southwest this spring/summer. Scored 40 points in 2 Regional games leading team to title.

Brown County 6’4” Guard Michael Kassing is a floor general, who takes charge, knockdown shooter who steps up in big moments. High Academic in classroom and high basketball IQ. Lead team to 25 Wins and earned area FOY honors. Still growing. 👀

Summer Hoops in BC today! Brown County will play Mercer County and Forreston today in the MS Gym at 3 and 5pm. Come catch some summer basketball.

Brown County 2028’s Bradley Markert and Henry Ingram having monster summers. Each with 25+ point games this week at Illinois College shootout. 6’4” versatile players with high ceilings and still growing. Both will be Romeoville Live Summer Shootout next weekend.

2027 Wyatt Kassing has significant range, quick release and high % shooter. A name to keep on radar for coaches looking for shooters to open the floor.
