That em-dashes are a good tool—even a necessary one—and any writer foregoing using them is doing a disservice to himself and his reader. That and sex can serve a worthwhile purpose in literature, even if I don’t use it in my books.

So Bloodlust's interlude (sort of like a historical prologue) includes a scene that people reading since the beginning might've been waiting to see. It's more intense than I originally anticipated, that's for sure.
