Our A Level Product Design students were visited today by a designer from Bentley for a masterclass in how to render new design concepts. He also spoke about his career journey in the car design industry and routes our students could take into the business.

Last week our Y11 GCSE Religious Studies students received a talk about Buddhism at Leicester's Buddhist Centre and took part in a Q&A to support their studies. They then went to Leicester Cathedral and quizzed The Rev'd Canon Chris Oxley on aspects of Christian faith.

We're having our Macmillan Coffee Morning Thursday 9th October and to make it a success we're looking for donations for the cake sale. Please bring in shop bought cakes and biscuits from the 29th of September. Last year we raised £888 for Macmillan, let's raise more this year

A massive thank you to the colleges, universities, training providers, and workplaces who came in today for our careers event. Years 9 to 13 had the opportunity to speak to over 50 providers about their options when it comes to life after Beauchamp.

Our Year 11 Classicists had a wonderful time at the British Museum studying the Parthenon sculptures and other artifacts from Greek history.

Yesterday we had our Macmillan Cancer Support cake sale and raised a wonderful £718 for the charity. Thank you to all the students, staff, and parents/carers who supported the event by donating, making, selling, and buying cakes. #cake #MacmillanCoffeeMorning

To raise awareness of and support mental health, today was Wear It Yellow Day. Staff and students wore something yellow and our student wellbeing ambassadors ran a stall where students could find out about available support and offer advice.

Yesterday our students took part in practical sessions in boxing, pickleball and cricket as part of Careers in Sports day. Wrexham AFC and Coventry City legend Andy Morrell offered advice on working in sports coaching and management.

Massive congratulations to year 10 student Niam Radia for taking double gold in the recent Victor Denmark Junior 2025 badminton world championships. He won decisively in both the U15 singles and doubles categories! Well done Niam.

Our first reward trip of the year was bowling and a great time was had by all. We took over a hundred students from KS3 and KS4, a deserved treat for all of those reward points. This term's trip is something very special so get those points in.

Wednesday's house event was pumpkin carving and day of the dead mask design. We had some very impressive pumpkins but a favourite was the Minecraft inspired squash. Remember, if you are trick or treating tonight, do it respectfully and safely.

Our KS3 students raised an amazing £886 for Place2Be last week. A simple act of giving that will help to improve the lives of young people struggling with their mental health and emotional wellbeing.
