School crossing guards in Toronto play an integral part in keeping our schoolchildren safe as they travel through our school communities 🚸 Take the time today to thank your local school crossing guards for their continuous hard work and dedication!

Today, we honoured the courage of Toronto’s fallen firefighters who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in the service of our city. We give thanks for their service, honour their legacy and remember their bravery. Toronto will never forget them.

From now until October, Harmony Good Food Market is open on Tuesday afternoons from 3pm - 5pm 🥕 …and you definitely don’t want to miss it. This initiative is promoting an affordable, community-building space to meet others in the neighbourhood and shop for fresh local produce!

It’s patio season in #Toronto, and our small businesses should not be left hanging. Today at Council, I was proud to stand up for #BEY faves Chowpatty Culture and Bud's Coffee Bar to ensure they are able to take part in CafeTO this summer. Patios coming soon - check ‘em out!

It was an honour to take part in the City of Toronto 🇨🇦’s annual Sunrise Ceremony on this National Indigenous Peoples Day. Thank you to Elder Garry Sault for the meaningful Sunrise Ceremony, and to Grandmother Kim Wheatley for sharing your sacred teachings.

Happy to report Volo’s summer 2023 patio was approved today at Community Council! It should never have taken this long. But it shows that when Council spends less time deferring decisions & more time taking action to support small biz, our city wins. Get out and enjoy 🌤️
