We’re excited to share news from BHER member British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) whose trades students are set to receive $5 million in scholarship funding courtesy of the BeedieBright BUILD program. The funding will support 285 students over the next five years by removing financial barriers to education.

BHER partnered with Western University and TechAlliance to engage 1,067 students in curricular work-integrated learning in the tech sector. This partnership helped Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts students who were underrepresented in #WIL gain much-needed experience.
