What really stood out in this swim meet are the place finishes that we typically do not score.  Fifth place finishers Briana D'Orsi in the 200 Freestyle, Grace Davison in the 50 Freestyle, Anna Hahn in the 100 Freestyle, Maeve Sheehy in the 100 Backstroke all contributed points

Ava Eldridge inched closer to qualifying for Sectionals in the 500 Free( 6:08.41).  Another time Coaches are confident she will obtain.  New this season but has done in the past, Alexandra Mahon swam the 100 Backstroke 1:09.00, mere tenths away from qualifying for Sectionals

Chloe Liljegren took 14 seconds off her 500 Freestyle time (7:54.31), Anna Hahn swam her fastest 100 Freestyle yet (1:05.88), and Rachel Dawley got a personal best in the 100 Fly (1:18.22).

Doing their first 100 Freestyle in High School competition, Freshman swimmers Mia Liljegren, Sarah Yacteen, and Sadhana Sridhar all performed terrific.  Longer events can be scary but once you get the first one out of the way, the rest is easy.

Results of Thursdays swim meet against Reading. Woburn/Burlington 82.5, Reading 87.5. How half points you ask in swimming? A Reading and W/B swimmer touched the wall at the same time. Even more unique, timers got the same exact time. W/B swimmers continue to impress!!!

Congratulation to Alexandra Mahon for qualifying her 100 Backstroke for Sectionals at the MIT pool in November. She has three individuals events qualified to pick from. Which two will be hers!
