In 2019 I went to Old Friends for the first time. There were many highlights but the biggest was Touch Gold. he was the only horse who didn’t just walk up to us, but ran. That’s how I’ll always remember him. To the cheers of the crowd he ran. Rest in Peace Touch Gold.
