BLT will co-sponsor one or more oral sessions at the 2025 AMS annual meeting that will have a distinct BLT flavor. Please submit your abstracts here to the Conference on Hydrology ams.confex.com/ams/105ANNUAL/… And select the theme "Land-Atmosphere Interactions in a Changing Climate”

Warm congratulations to Professor Charles Meneveau from Johns Hopkins University for this highest distinction a fluid dynamicists can have. Prof Meneveau has made seminal contributions to the theory of turbulence in general, and atmospheric boundary layer turbulence in particular.

Hope to see you next June in Torino, Italy, for the 25th American Meteorological Society Symposium on Boundary Layers and Turbulence. An exciting program is coming soon. ametsoc.org/index.cfm/ams/…
