Wes Streeting again, this is why I had to retire 5 years early. Fix this now and you’ll keep many senior clinicians. If you don’t you WILL lose them. The economics of this are utterly unarguable.

This is of course, at the moment, speculation. Speculation that is seen before every budget albeit the speculation is louder this year, it is still just that Any government would be foolish to not consider the secondary behavioural impacts in plans of senior people in the NHS

Almost 1 in 4 GP Partners have reduced their hours by an average of 1.7 sessions a week because of the AA taper. This is potentially 4 million lost appointments a year. No one should have to #paytowork - the Government must urgently scrap the AA taper. tinyurl.com/3p7rt774
