It’s really hard to poll 16-17year olds reliably. There’s going to be a huge amount of polls saying different things about how they’d vote. Even more important to see if patterns emerge across polls and consider carefully who is doing the work.

In July 2024 leading Conservatives met for the first shadow cabinet after their election defeat. In comments later leaked to the Times on July 9th Kemi Badenoch ripped into Rishi Sunak over his D-Day gaffe and called his PPS a “buffoon”. On July 10th Badenoch called the leak

Honestly theses institutions are just totally unsympathetic. £11.5k to teach a 9 year old to do sums? Near £100k to do A levels? They’re just scamming status obsessed middle class people and Chinese students, why should this be tax free.

Here's the problem. People think council tax pays for bins. What they don't realise is that council tax is - absurdly - how we pay for care in this country. Your council tax is going on the rising cost of adult social care as more people live longer & need more care. Not bins.
