BHM '22 reminder that there's still no mandated specific learning expectations on Black history in Education Ontario curriculum. The OBHS has not heard from Education Ontario Stephen Lecce since Oct 2020 when we sent our letter of concern. Real structural change is needed & the calls continue.

Politicians and policymakers have convinced most people that a good teacher can get students, who are dealing with depression, hunger, trauma, low self-esteem and self-worth, and other issues, to learn and do well on tests without addressing all those other issues first.
