Beach cleaning up with the amazing children Christ Church Primary North Shields for our Stronger Shores project. 6 bin bags full of plastic waste - a shocking amount when the beach seemed fairly clean at first. Well done to everyone involved; something so simple can make a huge difference. 👏👏

A single piece of polystyrene = thousands of microplastics in the ocean. Microplastics that become part of the ecosystem and harm marine life. So if you see a piece of polystyrene on the coastline, pick it up and you will save the planet from thousands of microplastics.

A fantastic day at Moorside Primary as part of our Point North Youth Aspirations programme. A visit from the astronomy and physics team from Durham University watching the night sky & constellations in the planetarium and learning about science based careers. ☄️🚀🔭🪐
