Is Phalaris becoming harder to control? Prof Bhagirath Chauhan, UQ, says Phalaris with resistance to Group 1 and 2 herbicides is becoming more prevalent in the northern region. He’s been trialling control options in wheat and chickpea. buff.ly/gJq6U4H

Wireweed (WW) trials (Tamworth): Too dry for WW emergence; site is heavily infested (see WW residue from last yr) but no emergence yet.
