🔥🔥🔥Important work in JAMA Network Open! We found inpatients with ASB rarely had bacteremia--pts w/altered mental status and NO systemic signs of infection had <<1% risk. Really drives home that work up of other causes of altered mentation is key, rather than anchoring on UTI
