Leps end a long drought. Belle Vernon Area defeated North Catholic 54-49 on Feb. 27th, 2025 to win the WPIAL 4A Championship at the Petersen Events Center on Pitt’s campus in Oakland. The win gives Belle Vernon its first WPIAL basketball title in 47 years.
