Y1 learning this week we have revisited our science learning on plants. We have planted some tomato plants in grow bags and are excitedly waiting for our crops to grow. We are hoping for a bumper crop because the weather has been so lovely.

Our F1 children have continued to explore the story The Rainbow Fish and were experimenting with colour mixing. The children especially enjoyed mixing different colour paints between their hands and watching what happened. What messy fun! Marcus pfister

Y5 are very excited to be back for the last term as it is always very busy! We will be focusing on preparing for Sports Day as well as our new topics in Science & History. We have a very exciting surprise when we learn all about the Vikings! All will be revealed in due course....

Part of Y1's history learning we are considering how important the pioneers of aviation were. We visited SYAM We explored the exhibits, drew our favourite aircrafts, had races to determine the fastest pilots and made paper aeroplanes.  We had the most amazing day out!

F2 were visited by Clifton Museum today. They were shown lots of interesting historical artifacts such as kitchen tools, toys, coins and even a pair of 200-year-old baby shoes from China!

This week Year 1 had a special visitor from Clifton Park Museum. We've been using our observation skills to guess the mystery object. We used our scientific knowledge of materials to think about what the object was made from and what time period it came from. Rotherham Museums, Arts and Heritage
