Day 5 Another great day. Lessons this morning where we made posters and maps of our school and uniform and presented in teams making excellent use of new sentence structures. Mandarin Excellence Programme
Day 5 (cont) We then learnt how to play hulusi. All students were very kindly gifted an instrument to bring home to demonstrate to their family! Mandarin Excellence Programme
Finally, we visited the night market which was great fun. The rain didn't hinder lots of enthusiastic bartering took place resulting in bulging shopping bags. Also the food in the hotel is great - plenty of choice for everyone. Mandarin Excellence Programme
We then had a cooking lesson and made rice pancakes stuffed with fresh herbs, shrimp and tofu - delicious. Mandarin Excellence Programme
A huge well done to Miss Groves+Mr Timmis - a very fine job of leading The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award at @bvgs1527 this year. 150 Bronze. 130 Silver. And an amazing 52 Gold expeditions this term. An absolutely mammoth undertaking. Miss Groves leaves us for Norfolk this summer- we will miss her.
