(A cold and windy) Opening Day for BW Softball! JV hosts Loudoun County, varsity travels to Loudoun County. First pitch for both games is 6 pm. Go Falcons!

Tough opening night for the Falcons ... varsity falls 15-2 at LCHS, JVs blanked 20-0 at home vs. LCHS ... remember to control the controllables and look to get better every day. Seasons are marathons, not sprints!

Falcon varsity goes 2-2 at Sports Plus Tourney in Chesterfield March 23 & 24 ... two strong wins and two tough one-run losses ... had the tying runs at second in the last inning of both defeats -- way to fight til the end! Great efforts ladies!

BW varsity softball earns hard-fought 4-3 win at Potomac Falls Friday night ... Abby K w/ three hits and two ribs ... Nicole Karagiorgis with her third CG of the week; gave up just one earned run ... strong defense, clutch hits and great pitching = a "Curly Dub"! Way to fight!
