.Venice High Baseball finished off Newsome, 10-0, in Game 2 of the 7A regional semifinal series on Thursday. The top-seeded Indians (28-3) will now host No. 7 seed Alonso (19-11) in Games 1 and 2 next Wednesday and Thursday. The winner of that series advances to the state semis.
