I thought this quote was a jokey attack from the left but I think this person actually thinks Austin lacks a “functional public safety apparatus” because of all of these things 😵

“Uprisings always come from the oppressed, from the people. There comes a moment when the discontent(ready to become active)of the people corresponds to the discontent(never ready to become active)of the “intellectuals” of the bourgeoisie. And then it is the revolution.”-Kropotkin

“A revolution is a swift overthrow, in a few years, of institutions which have taken centuries to root in the soil, and seem so fixed and immovable that even the most ardent reformers hardly dare to attack them in their writings.” -Kropotkin, The Great French Revolution 1789-1793

Dems blaming the left is the dem version of the republicans blaming immigrants. Taking the people with the least amount of power and assigning them all the blame as if they have all the power.

Yesterday we became the most recent Texans to have our home owners insurance drop us for no reason. Everything in this country is a scam. Side note: This morning I had to go watch my son sing a song called “Thank You Soldiers” at school.

Entire trades (concrete, sheet rock, etc) are exclusively manned by undocumented immigrants and crack addicts. Trying to imagine construction in Texas, post mass deportations, when all of those workforces are just 100% crack addict.

Construction and food employ millions of undocumented immigrants (who pay taxes, contribute to social security, etc.). Deport them and replace with US citizens will raise costs and prices especially there. So deportation worsens inflation. Trump stumped.
