We are very proud to have contributed to this lovely Pope Francis Catholic Multi Academy Trust video commemorating the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. Thank you Miss Connaughton for teaching us the song and leading our singing. Archdiocese of Liverpool #VEDay80 #MakeADifference

Feeling so much pride for our Year 6 children who gave their all during SATs week. You've worked so hard, and it shows. A massive thank you to our dedicated staff for their guidance and encouragement. ❤️ #MakeADifference

🎶Last week, we were very proud to see our students demonstrate their #singing talents in a performance of a song composed to mark the anniversary of VE Day. On #VEDAY80 this was shared in a video for all pupils in the Trust - well done everyone! #ToBeMore #StudentPerformance

I was chosen, without any merit of my own. Now, with fear and trembling, I come to you as a brother, who desires to be the servant of your faith and joy, walking with you on the path of God’s love, for He wants us all to be united in one family.

theguardian.com/education/2025… One of the biggest acts of vandalism from the post-2010 governments. And there were plenty to choose from. So proud that we managed to keep Anfield CC open. It is thriving today.

In a society of fraying of social bonds and huge social change, the parable of the Good Samaritan holds a particular power. It gives a clear steer through the noise, a useful host-group reminder: welcome the stranger, care for those in need, especially those fleeing famine, or

'The eye is the window to the soul.' I often think of this when seeing how children react to adults. They seem to instinctively know when someone is with them, for them, cares for them. Maybe they read it in the eyes. And it's very difficult to fake.

I wonder if the growing trend towards maths, science, tech and data is partly because it's seen as more tangible and rational than the arts, but also because it provides certainty in an age of uncertainty, or at least (and here's the dangerous bit) an illusion of certainty.
