Great week 3 of the Baldwin High School Baseball hitting clinic. Tonight we worked on “approach”. We talked about the importance of being aggressive and hunting fastballs in hitters counts. We talked manufacturing offense with bunting and hit and runs. Winning baseball! #Believe

Today Canon-McMillan Baseball will be honoring Coach Bucci and the 2008 Canon Mac State Championship team on the 15 year anniversary of the ‘08 State Championship the first in school history. This also marks the 10 year anniversary of the 2013 South Park 24-0 WPIAL Championship Team.

Tough loss today for the Highlanders 6-5 but a huge thank you to Canon-McMillan Baseball for honoring Coach Bucci and his 2008 Canon Mac State Championship team.

Congratulations to former South Park pitcher Kevin Vaupel on being selected in the 16th round of the MLB draft. Kevin was coached at South Park by Steve Bucci and the current Baldwin coaching staff from 2016-2019 and competed for a state title in 2017.
