Mayor Brandon M. Scott and Baltimore City Fire Department will be providing a media update today at 10:45am at the staging area - Edmondson Avenue and Bentalou Street in West Baltimore.

BCFD is currently on scene at the 3400 block of E. Baltimore St. At this time, there are 3 dwellings involved. The incident has escalated to a third alarm. The 3400 block of East Baltimore St is closed to all traffic Expect extensive delays in the immediate surrounding area.

3400 block of E Baltimore St: total 4 dwellings engaged. BCFD,BCPD, OEM, BG&E on location. No reported injuries. Red Cross & DHCD Emergency services en route. Updates will be provided as they are made available.

Shortly before 6:00 a.m., Baltimore Fire was dispatched to the 2600 blk of Cannery Ave. for a reports of a tractor trailer collision w/ a train. Upon arrival, units confirmed no injuries & no leaks . BCFD remains on the scene along w/ the MDE. The cause is under investigation.
