Incredible activity around a very recently constructed beaver dam at Bamff over a few days. Previously this area was just a small ditch, with barely any water flow. Now, it’s a sequence of over 12 dams with multiple pools and a new ecosystem.

Curious beaver, shot with a thermal camera last night at Bamff Wildland. Its keen sense of smell on display as it attempts to locate the source of a prominent new scent close by.
