French Exchange - Day 7: This morning we stepped back in time to the Enlightenment era at the Forges de Buffon in Burgundy. After a picnic lunch we were treated to a guided tour, delivered by the French pupils, of the Abbaye de Fontenay - un hommage à l’architecture romane!

Day 2 - Reichstag Parliament and Dome followed by bike tour of Berlin 🚲 and visit to the DDR museum today.

Berlin trip Day 3 - visit to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp followed up with a trip to the East Side Gallery which contains a section of the original Berlin Wall. Evening was spent 10 Pin Bowling 🎳

As we approach the summer holidays and pupils will have more time to spend on their devices, here is some helpful advice for Switch users and their parents/guardians.

Berlin trip Day 4. The day started with a visit to the Brandenburg Gate. We then travelled to East Berlin to visit the site of a former Stasi Prison. We avoided a thunderstorm by having tours of WW2 and Cold War underground bunkers and finished with dinner in the Tiergarten

Berlin Day 5: Our final morning was spent at the Olympic Stadium where there was a mix of history, sport and culture. In the afternoon a visit to the Zoo to see the pandas was a popular choice. Dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe was our last stop before we started our journey home.
