Deeply emotional evening in the Market Community Centre. Moving reflections and powerful contributions from Dr. Abusalama and Cllr Séanna Walsh - chaired by Fionntán Hargey Market Development Association The enduring meaning, power and significance of global solidarity.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh to Cllr Séanna Walsh and Dr. Abusalama for a very moving and inspiring evening, as we reflected on the legacy of Bobby Sands and his international impact. Part of the 'Bobby at 70: Market Bobby Sands Project'.

I shared some of these stories in Belfast in a Pangur Bán event celebrating our long history of shared struggle & solidarity. I was humbled to share the platform with #BobbySands' surviving inspirational com Cllr Séanna Walsh who, like my dad, continues to be a pillar of his community!

Donations welcome for our friend Shahd and displaced family! Details in the link below ⬇️ gofundme.com/f/revolutionar… 1916 Walking Tour
