Never complaining about the stairs outside Wembley Park station again after seeing this monster yesterday.

Now that's what you call a sun dial.

Somewhat impressive structure that. Some lovely engineering but actually only utilises probably less than 5% of the space inside as usable. More a statement than a practical building.

Imposing structure with the teeth sticking out. Other one like a bug or armadillo, hard to tell. The big triangular eyes are doors that hinge diagonally. Weirdly impressive thing that basically houses a big white sphere, and that's about all.

And finally this, which is the most interesting looking, but I have no idea what the thought process was behind the design. Will be looking up the architects when we get back and getting the lowdown on it all. Hugely impressive development all round though.

Look at it this way, at least the playoffs result yesterday means The Martyrs (C) will get to play in Wales 24 times next season instead of the 23 times they were expecting in the NLN. I really don't see any losers in this scenario...

So, by all accounts you can't do a puncture repair on a run flat tyre. This is news to me, & not particularly good news at that. So that's two new tyres & an unexpected £390 bill coming. FML. But not as FML as the builder doing roofing work across from me when I see him!
