Couldn't agree more with Jennifer Schrack, PhD : This is one of my favorite academic events of the year! Join in and enjoy!

Just to say how privileged I feel for our jhubiostat faculty, staff, students, fellows, & alumni! Congratulations to you all on US News co-#1 ranking among US doctoral programs. Gratitude too to our colleagues nationwide for your generous regard-- Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health

Congratulations to our amazing jhubiostat graduates who were recognized in Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Convocation yesterday--8 PhD, 8 ScM, and 3 MHS, as well as another 4 PhD and 1 ScM who also graduated. You have triumphed in the hardest of circumstances. We are so very proud of you!

First in-person opportunity in 3 years: What a joy to spend Convocation actually together with our graduates! jhubiostat Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health

Will work to collect photos: For now, I'll join in to appreciate our celebration of 2020-21 graduates yesterday and today. Thank you all for coming to be with us! You've given me one of my happiest times as chair. jhubiostat

I am so pleased that this impactful work will continue! Congratulations, @ciprianstats ! Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health

I'm proud of this work evidencing major variation in older adults' health/functional trajectories after dialysis initiation and its connections to long-term survival, hence clinical implications for addressing #resilience upon stress. Melissa deCardi Hladek outstandingly led the work!

Welcome to our incoming jhubiostat students--12 PhD & 17 ScM strong! Yesterday's orientation together *in the same room* with so many was joyous and a feeling like none since early 2020. Eagerly looking forward to our coming year--thanks for making me feel young / enthusiastic!

High impact work on socio-economic disadvantage and older adults outcomes following critical care being report by Snigdha Jain MD, MHS. Early career faculty are the lifeblood of our The Pepper OAIC Coordinating Center network and the promise of improving health in #aging!

Trumpeting our faculty/trainee achievements is great! Too seldom I've uplifted our backbone--our staff. Cheers & thank you to our unsurpassed jhubiostat staff! They caringly and expertly pave the way for all we do. Associating with them has been a signature joy for me as chair.

One of my last events as jhubiostat chair--first appointments and promotions dinner in four years; at Ravens Stadium. I feel so privileged for everything the honored faculty are accomplishing, and I couldn't be fonder of all these dear people (present and not)! Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health

Just thanks as I've ended as the jhubiostat Chair. Dear department friends-so many of you being with me at my farewell meant so much; same to JHU friends & family. Feeling truly privileged as I paddle into the sunset (photo authentic!) of chair life relishing my & dept's future!

I am blessed by homes in 2 exceptional scientific communities: statistics and gerontology. Heartfelt thanks to the many friends both Johns Hopkins University and worldwide who make for such a joyful & exciting journey of discovery. Thank U COPSS! The Pepper OAIC Coordinating Center COAH jhubiostat

It's hard to imagine an award more meaningful than to be honored as the Cornell Statistics and Data Science Alumni of the Year. Thank you for this and for the most wonderful graduate experience back in the day! jhubiostat

How amazing to see this high recognition of Russell Shinohara. Taki-- jhubiostat and the EBA training program benefited from your immense talents and grace as a student. We're thrilled but not surprised at this honor. Cheers to you!! COAH

I am indeed proud and moved to be participating in this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias. Let's indeed beat ADRD!! jhubiostat Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health

It's taken me too long to share, but what a joyous photo and event: Friends from decades past to just a few months ago! Thank you for hosting, Jennifer Schrack, PhD and COAH ! Hopkins and Aging Science rock together! Johns Hopkins University Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health

What a privilege to participate in this wonderful podcast, Aging Fast and Slow! If we can indeed better measure structural #racism, we can better combat it and uplift health for all. Thank you Sarah Szanton and @DrDeidraCrews for the invite. jhubiostat COAH

We are delighted to share with you that COAH Faculty Karen J. Bandeen-Roche, PhD, MS, has been named our Summer 2024 COAH Champion!
