We are cautiously optimistic. The Lake County Clerk’s Office reports I have a 991 count lead. There are still mail-in ballots to be counted with 2 more updates 11/10, 11/17. Stay tuned!

It’s official! The results have now been certified by the Lake County Clerk’s office. I am proud and honored to serve the people of Lake County as your next Coroner. Thank you!

Jennifer was officially sworn in this morning as Lake County Coroner! 19th Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Diane Winter performed the ceremony. Coroner Banek then joined her new team at the Coroner’s Office after her deputies were sworn in by County Clerk Robin O’Connor.
