In PE, Henri Rousseau class have been practising their serving, bowling and batting skills. ๐Ÿธ๐ŸŽพ Bowlers focused on their under and over hand serves, whilst batters worked on aiming and batting forehand and backhand serves. The sun is out, let's all get active outdoors! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

Y2 had a fantastic time meeting a variety of amphibians and reptiles, learning how different animals adapt to their environments. Although some children were a little nervous at first, they showed great bravery and curiosity, overcoming their fears and engaging enthusiastically

Year 3 got up close and personal with some fascinating animals bought in by animal expert Robbie! They learned all about how these animals live, hunt and survive in the wild. The animals included snakes, tarantulas, geckos and African land snails. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•ท๏ธ๐ŸฆŽ๐ŸŒ

Keen designers at work in Year 1 Kristen Reitz Green Class. Here they are developing their finger fluency and learning to attach an axle to a chassis. They used a wooden peg as a chassis to create a wheel and axle mechanism.

Y3 enjoyed a competitive game in PE today where they tried to get the ball through the 'tunnel' and be the first team to cross the line. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ They had to discuss their tactics and strategies that would help them work as a team to win the game! ๐Ÿ†

Frida Kahlo Class enjoyed exploring soils at the Soanes Centre. They have been learning about the Earth's formation & its genetic composition in Science, so this was a great way for them to understand how organisms decay over time to create further depth to our Earth's surface.

Alma Thomas went to the Natural History Museum and took part in a mini beast workshop. As part of the session, they discovered why different mini beasts choose certain environmentsโ€”e.g. how some use camouflage to blend into their surroundings and avoid being seen by predators.

During their mini beast hunt at the Natural History Museum went searching for tiny creatures and observing where they were found and why. It was a fun and educational experience that brought their learning to life.
