We. Have. DATA!!!! Yesterday, we download 6 of 23 Innovasea receivers in the Kowie Estuary, #SouthAfrica as part of Dinah Mukhari and Bantony Ziko PhD project, and 51 of 57 tagged mullet have been detected more than 220 000 times! And that's just 2 months of data 🤯

At the Southern African Society of Aquatic Scientists 2023 Congress, SAIAB PhD research student, Dinah Mukhari talking about the use of acoustic telemetry and otolith microchemistry to study the life history and migration history of flathead mullet, (Mugil cephalus).
