Plant fungal pathogen B. cinerea utilizes EVs to secrete Bc-sRNAs, which are then internalized by plant cells through clathrin-mediated endocytosis (CME). The Botryrtis EV marker BcPLS1 and Bc-sRNAs were detected in purified plant clathrin-coated vesicles. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Extracellular vesicles are used to deliver sRNAs by both plants and fungal cells. The sRNA containing fungal EVs are taken up by plants through clathrin-mediated endocytosis. Check my recent paper for more information rdcu.be/dhkxB Hailing Jin

Check out this news about our new work. Plants use EVs to deliver mRNA into mold cells and reduce its infection. This strategy offers insights into plant defenses and potential for eco-friendly fungicides. Huge step in our battle against fungal pathogens! news.ucr.edu/articles/2023/…
