What a treat to celebrate 10 yrs of pathways programs with my friends & colleagues at UChicagoCancerCenter. These programs & the trainees have created my career’s proudest moments. Also love seeing the impact of American Cancer Society support of DICR internships & SHE Program.

Today I had the pleasure of speaking at UChicagoCancerCenter’s 10th Annual Summer Research Symposium. This terrific event brought together trainees from the center’s Pathway Programs, along with their support networks—family, research mentors, and stakeholders. spr.ly/6013YGFiT

So impressed with the high-quality science presented by trainees supported through the American Cancer Society-funded Diversity in Cancer Research (DICR) internship & Summer Healthcare Experience (SHE) in Oncology Programs at UChicagoCancerCenter. The future is bright!

One of the strengths of the CCB program is our connection to the UChicagoCancerCenter which supports our trainees and faculty in team science initiatives and in translating our research from bench to bedside. At the Ignite Symposium, CCB faculty spoke about their exciting new work.

We had wonderful discussions at our first joint work-in-progress session with UChicago Committee on Immunology! We can't wait to create more collaborative spaces for our graduate students and scientists in the future.
