I met Zachery on 6-9-23. For 10 months I visited Zachery every Monday and Friday as he bravely battled Lukemia. Yesterday, 6-27-25, I watched as Zachery rang the bell at Cure 4 The Kids Foundation signifying the end of treatment and his triumph over cancer! Way to go Zachery! 🧡 ~ Deke🐾

I met Nellie while on my rounds at Summerlin Hospital. Battling a rare form of cancer, Nellie has since transferred to Primary Children’s in SLC! I mailed Nellie a “Fight Like a Kid” bracelet last week; today she texted me picture #3! ~ Deke🐾 #FightLikeAKid🎗️ #TeamNellie
