Pressures facing families have never been greater. @RukshanaKapasi Director for Health at Barnardo’s, championed the role that community-based support plays in helping families arguing that there needs to be ‘universal and targeted support in each and every local place’

@RukshanaKapasi also emphasised how by providing earlier support hubs can prevent problems escalating - she explained “We know that the evidence is that when you do provide that preventative support, that early support you do prevent more families going into crisis”
