I came across this sequence while looking for interesting facts about the number 26: a student's "lucky number". To get started: cube each number then take the "digit sum"; what do you notice?houseofmaths.co.uk/2020/04/dudene…

I just finished my first lesson in using Python. It was very cool! - if I've done it right then 100 factorial is 93326215443944152681699238856266700490715968264381621468592963895217599993229915608941463976156518286253697920827223758251185210916864000000000000000000000000

Apart from these well-known phrases, how else could we express ambivalence towards two alternatives? How about: "It's 5 miles or it's 8 kilometres"? "It's It's e to the i pi or it's minus one"? Contributions from fields other than maths very welcome!

Thank you to everyone involved in producing last night's Maths Jam shout sheet - we were exceptionally well entertained! 5 were present at East Dorset MathJam , and several comments that it really hit the spot. We got 15 equi triangles, and 22/27 for the fraction of the first shape.

When this is finished, I hope to have a really neat geometric demonstration of why the answer to the Maths Jam Battenburg Cake puzzle is (...don't want to spoil it for anyone still thinking!...)
