Become one with nature and take a trip to Rabbit Ings Country Park, a 64-hectare park home to various wildlife. Did you know the park is located on the former Monkton Colliery and Royston Drift Mine site? The park is open every day to visitors.

Soon be time to stroll down to Maurice Dobson Museum for our 5000th Bacon Butty event. Some lucky customer, at around 11.00am, will buy the 5000th bacon butty sold in the shop and they’ll win free bacon butties for the rest of the year!* *that’s one butty, of course. It’s November.

#Introduction We aren't a museum but we've loved working closely with Barnsley Museums & Barnsley Archives & Local Studies uncovering Eldon Street stories. The 4 year project in partnership with Barnsley Council & Historic England has ended & we're looking back on four wonderful years. #Museum30

The Eldon Street HAZ has achieved so much in the last four years! This final in person event celebrates just a few of the people associated with the history of the street. We'll see you next Saturday just across from the town hall!

Wow 5 years of daily puzzles! Way before Wordle The Cooper Gallery started turning art into puzzles, a lockdown initiative soon became part of people's daily routine and continues to bring people together. 🧩🧩🧩
